Patient dies whilst in care of the troubled Linden Centre

Another Linden Centre patient had died whilst in the care of the troubled mental health unit, at least the 11th this year.

The Chronicle understands that the service was found in a shower at the centre, ran by the North Essex Partnership NHS trust (NEP), on Sunday May 17 based on the grounds of Broomfield Hospital.

Between January 28 and March 25 this year the Trust has recorded 17 Serious Incidents and ten community deaths.

On February 23 another patient 41-year-old Aykut Sokmen was killed by a train at Chelmsford railway station.
